The Virtual Terminal enables businesses
with a WebLink account to authorize, process
and manage credit card transactions from
any computer with an Internet connection
and a Web browser. Internet RTWare
replaces standard authorization terminals
or software and provides the best solution
for merchants who manually enter credit
card transactions for mail or phone order
sales.
Virtual Terminal is the ideal
solution for businesses of all sizes because
it removes the complexity and expense normally
associated with authorizing and processing
credit card transactions and it's much faster
than standard dial-up authorization systems.
Businesses with a WebLink account
simply access the Internet RTWare through
our Web site using any industry standard
Web browser. After logging on to the system
using a unique user ID and password, merchants
can access the complete range of WebLink
services. This includes authorizations for
purchases, credits and returns, status and
activity reports and much more.
To authorize credit card transactions,
the merchant simply completes an electronic
form that provides the WebLink system with
the information it needs to complete the
transaction. This information is encrypted
using the latest 40 to 128 bit Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) 3.0 technology and is sent to
the WebLink host server. The server then
sends the data through the authorization
network to the appropriate card issuer's
bank over a secure, proprietary connection.
When the process is complete - this takes
around five seconds - the merchant receives
an authorization number and the WebLink
server stores the transaction. Transactions
are automatically settled each day and funded
within 2-3 days.
Merchants can also check the
status of transactions, automatically bill
customers for recurring charges or run a
variety of reports right from the WebLink
Virtual Terminal.
It's no surprise that WebLink
is the world's leading Internet-based payment
authorization and transaction processing
solution. Thousands of companies are currently
using WebLink to authorize, capture and
manage their credit card transactions.
The Virtual Terminal makes credit
card authorization and transaction management
fast and easy.

Web Link allows Internet-based businesses
to authorize, process and manage credit
card transactions without worrying about
all the complicated software, hardware and
expertise normally associated with processing
payments over the Web.
When online customers are ready
to purchase products or services from a
merchant's Web site, WebLink either captures
the necessary information (name, credit
card number, etc.) from the site's own secure
transaction page or displays a standard
WebLink transaction page, hosted on our
Internet server, for the customer to fill
out.
This information is encrypted
using 40 to 128 bit Secure Socket Layer
technology and is sent to our Internet transaction
server. The server then sends the data through
the authorization network to the appropriate
card issuers bank over a secure, proprietary
connection. When the authorization process
is complete - this takes around five seconds
- the customer receives an approval or decline
response and our server stores the transaction.
Transactions are automatically settled each
day and funded within 2-3 days.
Linking a merchant's Web site
to our Internet WebLink is simple. The merchant's
Web site designer or developer simply inserts
a few lines of HTML code that we provide
to establish the link. WebLink supports
most available shopping cart RTWare, and
it integrates easily with most e-commerce
solutions.
Merchants can also check the
status of transactions or run reports on
past activity by going to the Web site and
logging on to their own password-protected
WebLink site. Online businesses can also
use the Virtual Terminal to enter payment
information manually if customers prefer
to call in with their credit card information.

Electronic Check is an Internet RTWare
payment service that allows online and traditional
merchants to accept and process electronic
check payments either directly from their
Web site's storefront or through the Virtual
Terminal.
Electronic Check makes it easy for online
businesses to add an electronic check payment
option to their Web site. Customers who
wish to pay for a purchase with an electronic
check can simply select the electronic check
option and enter the requested bank account
information. Electronic Check encrypts the
data using the same SSL 3.0 encryption technology
as Weblink and transmits it to the secure
server for posting. Transactions are automatically
settled each day. Then, the system debits
the consumer's account via the Automated
Clearing House (ACH)* and transfers the
funds to the merchant's account. If the
account numbers are entered incorrectly
or the account has insufficient funds, the
Electronic Check system notifies the merchant.
Traditional merchants without commerce-enabled
Web sites can also use Electronic Check
to handle periodic billings. Businesses
such as health clubs, tanning salons, subscription
services, ISPs, membership companies, and
health care practitioners are typical examples
of businesses that need the ability to periodically
deduct funds from their customers' checking
accounts. Of course, customer approval is
always recommended, and merchants must sign
a separate Electronic Check ACH agreement
to perform these types of transactions.
*The Automated Clearing
House is the electronic network which transfers
and clears funds between banking institutions
on behalf of merchants and their customers.
Each transaction takes approximately 48
hours to clear, and we strongly suggest
that merchants wait five days from the initial
transaction date before shipping any goods.
This leaves two days to debit the consumer's
account, two days to deposit the funds into
the merchant's account, and one day for
the bank to post the transaction. Because
of this unavoidable delay, Electronic Check
should not be used by merchants who sell
soft or digital goods that are normally
downloaded immediately upon completion of
the sale.
